I don’t know shit about this video other than it’s awesome and the guy is using a custom MIDI drum setup to beat the Dragonforce song that’s on Guitar Hero 3. Very cool.

No commentsMost Badass Geek Tattoo Ever Etched On Flesh

Jack Newton is a fan of science. A dedicated fan. His decision to permanently print a portrait of the world famous physicist Stephen Hawking on his leg not only proves his die-hard attitude towards science but also demonstrates his excellent taste in body art.
The tattoo - complete with a Monty Python line from the classic Life of Brian film ‘He’s not the messiah. He’s a very naughty boy’ written underneath it - has already won two trophies at tattoo conventions.
Mr Newton said: “I read A Brief History of Time, but to be honest I didn’t understand a word, but I respect the man and that’s why I got his face tattooed on my leg.
That’s a good enough reason than any to get a tattoo. As for myself, well, I lost a bet.

No commentsPaper Turkey For Vegan’s Giving Thanks

Even if you’re a vegan and you keep clear of any consumables that at one time were living, breathing creatures, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the great American holiday that is Thanksgiving.
Does the sight of a stuffed and beheaded turkey on your table disturb you? Then decorate your Thanksgiving dinner table with a papercraft turkey. It’s fun because, much like a real turkey, you get to prepare it yourself. What makes it better is you don’t have to deal with pulling out different body parts from the turkey’s rectum. It’s all paper for you vegans. Well, it’s either that or a tofu shaped turkey.

No commentsHow To Build An Igloo

Kevin Kelly has a great find over on his site Cool Tools. It’s an $11 book from author Norbert E. Yankielun that teaches the art of the igloo and other snow shelters. After reading the 208 page novel, all you’ll need to do is wait for the next Nor’Easter and you’re ready to build a house that isn’t affected by sub-prime mortgages. Suh-weet!
