iPhone Firmware reveals some hidden apps for the future

A look at the iPhone’s firmware reveals some interesting facts of what the future might hold for new apps. Revealed in the file tree of the firmware are icons for a unit converter, an address book, some sort of radio functionality, a dictionary, and a translator.

We don’t know about you, but these apps are exactly what we believe could make the iPhone the ultimate of cellphones. Sure, it’s plenty innovative, but there is still things it lacks. Can’t wait to see what Apple has in store. (more…)
