Living in a Roboted World: Can humans and robots co-exist in harmony?

As of late, Japan has been looking at how robots can solve some social problems, in addition to the labor that they are currently being developed for. “Life/Machine - Scenes From A Roboted Life” is a project to explore the interaction between humans and robots in a domestic living space, and how they might coexist in an efficient symbiosis.

The project focuses on three important aspects of human life. Nutrition, and the robots ability to process and prepare food or keeping a clean kitchen, Hygiene, such as brushing a humans teeth, waxing his ears, or even shaving, and Leisure, or a robots ability to entertain and play games with their human counterparts.
