Ooma wants to give you free lifetime internet calls, for only $400…hmm

ooma-top.jpg

Check out this sexy phone from Ooma. One catch. It’s $400. The reason the price is so steep is because Ooma wants to give you free local ad long distance calling for the rest of your life. Just, ya know, not free.

The Ooma phone can route calls where the internet is available and even plug into your landline hub. Though one thing that might burst the bubble of the deal. Ooma uses any spare bandwidth to route other Ooma calls, so you might be crap out of luck when it comes to a speedy phone call with clear reception. Who knows. It could be worth it. — Andrew Dobrow
