Optimus Prime came by my apartment the other day. He was upset and in tears, so we sat down to have a heart to heart. The problem Optimus has is that there’s a new kid on the block who’s a lot more fun than he is. I told him not to worry and sent him home with a nice bowl of matzoh ball soup.

The next day, Prime was back. This time, he carried an RCRC Transforming Robot from AOK. “See?! This guy is affordable and can transform from an RC robot to an RC car. It’s ridiculous!” Prime said. “Nonsense. Let me see that thing.” I replied. Sure enough, after careful consideration and some child’s play, the RCRC proved to be a lot more fun than my robots in disguise. At $90, I knew it was time to say goodbye to my old friend.
