Relax If You’re “Tired”
With all the rubber tires occupying precious space in landfills, something needs to be done about tire fires releasing dangerous toxins into the atmosphere. Enter Carl Menary’s design “Re-tyre”, the tire to retire in that says we can clean up a waste problem and at the same time, get some sweet furniture.
But, wait what’s this? This chair is just one tire! I’ve sat in tire chairs comprised of eight tires or more, now that’s recycling. At the same time, this paves a new wave for tire chairs everywhere. Redneck truckers can now mass produce these for their endless offspring. Even a hillbilly wedding could have every attendee sitting in a tire. You can’t get a better productivity ratio than one tire one chair.
