Rock Band goes Ringo
Now this looks like it’s going to be one awesome game. Check out the drum kit that will be available with Rock Band. Gamers will play using four foam drum pads which all correspond to a different color. The four pads will represent the snare drum, tom-tom, hi-hat, and crash/ride cymbals.
The set will also include a kick pedal for a bass drum and will ship with drum sticks. Harmonix, producer of Rock Band, claims that once you master this peripheral on hard difficulty mode, you’ll be able to rock out on a real drum set. So, we’ll be able to kick up our coolness factor and learn an instrument, just by gaming. Rock Band will have a microphone (doubling as a Go-Go’s style tambourine) and a guitar peripheral. — Andrew Dobrow
