SonyEricsson Z750i secretly supports GPS

The SonyEricsson Z750i HSDPA folder phone was announced awhile ago, but not a lot of people had the chance to get hands on with the new user interface. At the CommunicAsia show which is still going on, news has been coming out that new Media interface (viz K850i) as well as support for external GPS receiver are spotted on the show floor. And interestingly under the “Location Service” menu we can also find Google Map.

The staff at the booth were unable to comment on this, and neither can the official website tell us anything. So far we can only predict that the Z750i may be able to work with the HGE-100 GPS enabler. Take note that the Z750 being shown is only a prototype, so product specifications can change without prior notice. –Sam Chan
