T-Mobile Unveils Tony Hawk Sidekick LX
T-Mobile has announced yet another themed Sidekick device. This time, skateboard legend Tony Hawk will be taking the reigns of the design team, creating a communications device that’s bound to please teenagers everywhere. Aside from the cool, blue graphics on the screen, the bottom of the device will have a grip-tape-like surface similar to that of a real skateboard. There’s even 8 miniature screws shoved in there to emulate a set of trucks being screwed in to a deck.
On the software side, you’ll find a special Tony Hawk theme full of graphics, wallpapers and videos - all exclusive of course. Looks aren’t the only thing this Sidekick LX will have - T-Mobile is taking this opportunity to release a new version of the OS the Sidekick uses, which will include video capture and sharing.
