Throwable Camera Makes For Unique, Possibly Horrible, Pictures

Triops

The Triops is a rugged digital camera that can actually be thrown by photography buffs interested in capturing some unique images. The device responds to sound or movement, so in a situation where it is thrown, suspended, or just left in an unusual location it can act autonomously. It also allows users to take sequential photographs and 360 panoramic images - all of which can be wirelessly transfered to a separate display unit.

Unfortunately the Triops is currently in the concept stage, but my guess is that we will see some crappy art school projects done with it sooner than you might think. — Sean Fallon
