Wind-Up Lamp is probably too much effort for lazy people
Here’s something cool for those keeping an eye out for the environment, but not so cool for those of you who are lazy. The Wind-Up Lamp design by Yuko Taguchi allows users to generate their own power by winding the built-in key.
A timer tells you how much time you have left of light. If it runs out, just wind it up some more. This would also come in handy for places with no electricity, or for places where the electricity is knocked out by storms often. — Andrew Dobrow
